#102. McLachlans Ale House, 1 Cannonmills, Edinburgh
This pub felt very lived in, like an old sweatshirt. The bench seats were repaired with duct tape. Natural light pours in from the street through large unfrosted windows. BBC news was on the telly. Two hardcore drinkers sat together at the bar, well into their wine and whiskey, ignoring the afternoon sun that had yet to set (and that happens ridiculously early in these parts). Here they are.
