#129. Royal Mile Tavern, 127 High St, Edinburgh
Linus got carded, which rarely happens. I guess they are used to all the underage tourists trying to sneak in, what with being right on the Royal Mile and all.
There wasn't much in the way of real ale on tap, so I settled for a Caledonian 80/- ("eighty shilling", which is what the tax used to be on a hogshead of beer of this strength as it entered the city limits).
This pub is quite cute, but featured a horribly unique chemical smell in the men's toilet.
