#306. Halfway House, 24 Fleshmarket Close, Edinburgh

The Cockleroy Black IPA from Alechemy Brewing in the West Lothians is a fantastic beer. And the Halfway House is a great little pub tucked away next to the Jinglin' Geordie. (I much prefer this pub to its neighbour.) The Halfway House was the CAMRA Edinburgh Town Pub of the Year for 2009.

I ordered up four songs on the jukebox, all featuring female vocalists: Beach House, Grimes, Goldfrapp, and Ladytron.
